All Saints, St Leonards & St Ives
The Parish Church of St Leonards and St Ives
The Parish Church of St Leonards & St Ives Serves the distinct residential communities of St Leonards and St Ives. The church offers a range of worship styles from traditional to contemporary.
Update 28th October 2020
From this weekend our normal service pattern will be Sunday and Thursday mornings at 10am. However, this may change when there are special services being held, so please see 'Our Current Services' below.
When a service includes Holy Communion, bread will be distributed to each communicant in a safe manner, but the celebrant will take wine on behalf of the congregation present.
It is not necessary for you to pre-book - except for Remembrance Sunday. We welcome and encourage you to join us at these services, but only if you feel safe to do so. These services are subject to last minute alterations if Government instructions change.
Please bring and wear your own face masks, and gloves if you so wish, but we do have some here.
Within the church, safety and social distancing measures are in place. Supervisors will be on hand to advise and guide those coming into the church. There are no books or bibles available, so please bring your own if you want to, but remember to take everything home with you afterwards.
Remembrance Sunday - 8 November 2020
While there will be a Remembrance Sunday service at All Saints Church St Leonards and St Ives, attended by Local Council, British Legion and Royal Naval association representatives who will lay wreaths, this will take place under Coronavirus Regulations. These severely limit the number of people allowed to be in the building, observing social distancing.
If you wish to attend this event, please inform
All Saints Parish Office tel 01425 461512 or
by Tuesday 3 November, giving a contact telephone number or e-mail address for confirmation that you will get a place.
If you have not been given confirmation that you have a place, please do not come to the church.
The Government advises people to watch the Cenotaph event at 1100 on Sunday 8 November on BBC TV.
