Bisterne Church has been recognised as being the rural and farming church amongst the new Benefice of 6. We thought we ought to show our true colours and so managed to make the national press with a story in three newspapers about us bringing in one of the earliest harvests in the UK. There were lovely pictures in The Daily Mail see here

Continuing our rural theme, we have had Carriage Driving, an National Garden Scheme Open Day, and two Manor Visits in aid of the Church. Our Barn Dance went very well and hosted some 100 people, against the background of the now-famous combine. As a kind visitor said "there's always something fun going on at Bisterne!". Who are we to disagree?

Further fun is to be had at the Stable Family Home Trust Summer Fayre, 28th July 1-5pm with food and craft stalls to browse around, live music & jive from King of Swing 'Paul Walker', SFHT dance & drama performance, vintage attractions, kids fairground ride & bouncy castle, bake off tent & fresh donut stall, coconut shy, 'SCRUFFS' fun dog show sponsored by Cedar Veterinary Group, gin & fizz & cider & Pimms bar, delicious BBQ brought to you by David Lloyd, Ringwood and cream teas & refreshments from our courtyard cafe. Follow the B3347 two miles south of Ringwood to find them.

Best regards
