What is COP26?

The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, is the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference. It is scheduled to be held in the city of Glasgow between 31 October and 12 November 2021, under the presidency of the United Kingdom. This is an important event, and one that needs a lot of prayer.

How the Church is responding to climate change

The Church of England believes that responding to climate change is an essential part of our responsibility to safeguard God's creation. It has pledged to become carbon ‘net zero’ by 2030, a decision made at General Synod in February 2020.

What can we do?
