In Mark 1:15 Jesus said, “the Kingdom of Heaven is near”.  Another way of understanding what Jesus meant is that the Kingdom is “within reach”. Jesus demonstrated this Kingdom as he preached the gospel and prayed for people. As he did so he brought healing and transformation to people’s lives.  His message was that God is present.  And he sent his disciples out to do the same.

Kingdom Essentials will be three evenings together to try to understand better what Kingdom means today.  How do we respond to Jesus’ command to pray for one another, see lives transformed and heal the sick?  What does it mean that this Kingdom is within reach?  Can it possibly be true that the power and authority that Jesus gave his disciples is available to us today.  If so - how do we go about it?

Join us at Ringwood Parish Church for a three session course led by Cannon Peter Vargeson, exploring how to pray for one another and for healing. These three sessions will explore how we can respond to Jesus' command to pray for one another, see lives transformed and heal the sick

The Cannon Peter Vargeson is a valued member of the Ministry Team in Ringwood Benefice. He was a parish priest in one church for 25 years where they saw real growth in prayer and ministry. He was also the prayer and ministry leader at New Wine for three years, and continues to teach on this for them.
