Ringwood Parish Church Celebration Window
What is it?
Ringwood Parish Church has undertaken building works to restore and renew the south transept window. Over the years the glass and surrounding mortar had become unstable, and so various netting and scaffolding was required to make the area safe.
As you can imagine, the large replacement window consists of thousands of individual coloured panes of glass. This huge project has seen professionals on site restoring the area around the window, and replacing the panes.
You can be a part of this historic project.
This massive project is partially grant funded, however we still need to raise funds to complete the work. That's where we invite you to get involved.
How can I get involved?
Individuals or companies can sponsor a pane or panes of glass. It's that simple. The diamonds are priced at £25, and triangles £10.
What are we celebrating?
We hope that by sponsoring your pane(s) you will be celebrating a special event, perhaps marking an occasion that has taken place within the church. Perhaps you would like to sponsor a pane to celebrate the life of a loved one. Maybe you would like to sponsor a pane as a gift, or even just for fun! What a wonderful, historic, and unique way to celebrate.
What happens once I become a sponsor?
You will receive a certificate with the number of your pane of glass. Each sponsored pane will be recorded and displayed in a special book kept on display in the Parish Church, with a window map available for you to find your pane or panes of glass when you visit.
